Our Instructors
Coach Benjamin
Coach Benjamin started fencing in college and has been involved with the sport off and on for sixteen years. He leads the continuing fencer classes and provides individual lessons. He is also a professor of philosophy at the University of Central Arkansas, so if you want to discuss ancient Greek and Roman ideas of happiness or ethical theory, you have come to the right place.
Coach Jon
Coach Jon joined the fencing club in 2014 and finally found a sport to be passionate about. As a child, he loved watching movies with sword-fights, and he still does. He currently coaches groups of beginning fencers and assists with intermediate level instruction. He is happy to help any fencer looking for a little extra practice.
Brian C, Armorer
Brian started fencing in October of 2018 at Central Arkansas Fencing Club where he quickly fell in love with the sport. As time went on he found that he enjoyed maintaining and repairing equipment for the club and has been doing that ever since. Beyond equipment repair, his main weapon is foil, but saber is his favorite.
Coach Harry
Harry has decades of experience fencing, including several years at Central Arkansas Fencing Club. He teaches foil and saber.
